We are conducted by John Bayley.
John, having been a music teacher for many years, is now pursuing a new
career as a Conductor and Musical Director. He has been a member of
the CBSC for over 20 years.
He also conducts the Hampton Singers, and was recently guest conductor
for the Aberystwyth University Elizabethan Madrigal Singers at their
annual reunion weekend.
In September 2006, John took up the position of
Conductor of the Solihull Chandos Choir.
Among the shows he has MD'd are Annie Get Your Gun, Gilbert
& Sullivan's The Sorcerer and Godspell, which he also
directed.
John studied Choral conducting under Paul Spicer at Birmingham
Conservatoire.
